In a recent interview with DJ Semtex, Lil Wayne was asked who he would like to work with but has yet to. After Weezy responded with unrealistic collaborations with the likes of Elvis and Sammy Davis Jr, he went on to discuss a more feasible collaboration that has yet to happen.
“I’ve never done a song with Eminem,” Wayne says. “I sent him a song and he ain’t do it. I didn’t like that but it’s all good. People be busy and stuff or a.k.a. just scared to get on a song with me.”
In a surprising move by the acclaimed “best rapper alive” Weezy F. Baby aka Lil’ Wayne has signed a 1 year contract to join the hip hop group “G-Unit”. Filling the shoes that The Game left over a year ago. “What’s better then da greatest rapper alive joining with the best hip hop group in the world?” Wayne was quoted.

Given the recent release of the first single “Lollipop,” featuring Static and produced by Jim Jonsin, off Tha Carter III it comes as no surprise that a new release date has been given for the next Lil Wayne album.
Tha Carter III is now set for a May 13 release on Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Motown. It’ll be tough to follow-up the platinum selling Tha Carter II, although Wayne’s status with numerous guest spots has only grown since that album’s 2005 release. Rumored guests on the album include Birdman, Jay-Z, The Game, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, David Banner, Timbaland and Busta Rhymes.

Lil Wayne recently confirmed reports that Kanye West will be among various producers on his highly anticipated album The Carter III.
Wayne told BBC’s DJ Semtex this week that West appears on three tracks on the album.
Other producers on the project include Jim Jonsin, Darius “Deezle” Harrison, Swizz Beatz, Alchemist and Cool & Dre, among others. As previously reported, The Carter III will hit stores on May 13th.
